  Melissa began her career in dentistry over 20 years ago with aspirations to become a dental hygienist. After learning from some amazing private practice dentists, she realized her passion was on the business side of dentistry. Melissa joined DentalOne Partners in 2004 and spent 15 years helping the organization grow in various Operational roles. Melissa’s last few years were in the Chief Operating Officer role for the West Region, where she supported practices in the non-branded segment of the company in Texas, Colorado and Arizona.

  Melissa joined Jarvis Analytics in January 2020 as COO – a company that created the most complete dental analytics platform for smart DSOs, and is based out of Dallas, Texas. Jarvis Analytics was acquired by Henry Schein One in May 2021. Melissa has continued to support the growth of Jarvis and the Dental Analytics team at Henry Schein One as Director of Operations and Customer Success, where she works with a talented team to implement processes that provide the innovation and superior service that dental practices and groups deserve. When Melissa is not working on the growth of Jarvis, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.”

  Dr. Wardah Inam is the CEO of Overjet. Overjet is the leading provider of AI technology for the dental industry to help improve patient care. She has been ranked among the 32 most influential people in dentistry by Incisal Edge. Prior to founding Overjet, she led product development at a healthcare startup, Q Bio, working on biomedical imaging. Before that, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab where she worked on remote biomedical sensing using machine learning on wireless signals. Dr. Inam received a PhD from MIT, where she developed AI-powered microgrid technology. This work received widespread recognition including National Geographic covering it as a breakthrough that could transform the way we power the world. She has corporate experience in GE and Apple and is the recipient of the MIT Graduate Women of Excellence Award.
