  Lane Theriault is the founder and CEO of Independence Dental Services, a unique DSO focused on offering complete operational autonomy to its partners. Since its founding at the end of 2020, it now operates in 6 states with plans to expand into 6 more by early 2022. Prior to founding Independence, Lane was a founding director of the second largest DSO in Canada, 123Dentist, which received an investment from Peloton Capital in 2019 as a part of $425 million transaction. Before entering the dental segment, Lane was an investment banker in Citigroup’s M&A department in Toronto. He is a CFA charter holder and earned his MBA from the University of Toronto.
